Colorado Group Supports Real Estate Projects Benefitting Local Community

In late 2008, the Imagine! Foundation was selected by The Colorado Group to receive $5,000 in support of its efforts as an outstanding local non-profit involved in a real-estate related project.
A second organization to benefit from The Colorado Group’s ‘Company Charitable Contribution Program’ was the cancer center at the Tebo Family Medical Pavilion on the Foothills Campus of Boulder Community Hospital. Principals at The Colorado Group donated the initial $5,000; the second $5,000 was matched by the contributions of other broker associates.
The Colorado Group’s third contribution toward outstanding real-estate related projects that benefit our community was to Clinica Family Health Services, provider of primary medical care to low-income, uninsured people. The People’s Clinic in Boulder merged with Clinica Campesina Family Health Services in 2007 to form this new and vital facility in the Boulder community.
Imagine! Foundation’s Boulder SmartHome - named the Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome – is the first home in the nation to incorporate cutting edge technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of service and support for people with physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities. Technologies also augment the effectiveness of staff as caregivers, and provide cost and energy savings for Imagine! Foundation.
Groundbreaking efforts on the home at 1806 Iris in Boulder began last September. On June 25, 2009, Audrey Berne, principal and broker associate, and Barb Pozzi, broker associate, joined with other community leaders and sponsors and represented The Colorado Group at the SmartHome dedication. |
