Christian Smith is a Principal and Broker Associate at The Colorado Group downtown office and has been active in different areas of the real estate industry for over 20 years. In 2007, he received his Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver and went on to own and manage his own commercial and residential real estate investments as well as consult others on a wide range of development projects. He has a diverse background in real estate and business, including property management, construction, marketing, and public relations. Christian believes strong ethics, integrity, and communication are the foundations of a healthy working relationship and prides himself on his transparency and ability to focus on his client’s goals.

Family and Personal Interests
Christian is an avid cyclist and enjoys racing radon’s and gravel events, and recently completed his first Dirty Kanza 200. He is a world traveler, having recently toured extensively throughout Southeast Asia with his family. As a three-time Colorado Outward Bound School graduate, Christian is a lover of all things outdoors and taught skiing and snowboarding for several years at Snowmass in Aspen, CO. He was a member of the nationally touring jazz-fusion group, “Cerulean City,” and recorded 2 internationally distributed CD’s as guitarist and lead composer and has performed in 30 states. Originally from New York, he came to Colorado in 1997 for an opportunity to manage a multi-use property in Aspen and now happily resides in downtown Boulder with his wife, two children, and various animals.
