Clean Energy Collective commits to headquarters in Boulder County.

Clean Energy Collective (CEC), the nation’s leading community solar solutions provider, announced that it has committed to maintain its headquarters in Louisville, Colo. for at least the next five years. CEC renewed its lease on its 28,000 sq.ft. main office space at 361 Centennial Parkway in Louisville, where the Colorado-born company houses more than 100 of the company’s 130-person staff.

CEC cited Louisville’s highly educated population, many recreation opportunities, and small town feel as ranking high on its list of criteria. The headquarters provides CEC with easy accessibility to US 36 via McCaslin Blvd, unobstructed mountain views, and is close to numerous restaurants, retailers, open space trails, and RTD’s Bus Rapid Transit.

“We’ve had nearly two years to settle in here and have found the City of Louisville to be a superb place for CEC to call home,” said CEC founder and CEO Paul Spencer. “Our location and this city provide an outstanding environment for our company and employees to be successful.”

“We are really fortunate to have Clean Energy Collective in Louisville. CEC is a great addition to our community and I wish them much success,” said Louisville Councilmember Ashley Stolzmann.

CEC pioneered the community solar model—delivering clean power-generation through medium-scale solar PV facilities accessible to all utility customers—in 2009, and has grown to become the world’s leading developer of community solar solutions. The company has 23 facilities currently operating in Colorado.

CEC was represented by Chris Hansen of The Colorado Group, Inc. and the landlord, Piedra Properties, LLC, was represented by Lynda Gibbons and Annie Lund of Gibbons-White, Inc.
