Superior/Louisville Marshall Fire 2021

Yesterday December 30, 2021 the most destructive fire in Colorado history started. I know scared doesn’t even convey the right emotion as we as a community were hearing and seeing so much loss through this Superior/Louisville Colorado area. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the first responders that have risked their lives to help save so many homes and businesses. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the devastation. This is a lot to process, but we have a strong community of helpers and as a community we will stand to support anyway we can.

Hundreds of homes have been lost and over 35,000 people have been evacuated and will not have a home to return to do to the Marshall fire. They will need help and the state of Colorado has made many resources available for anyone willing to help.

Where to donate:
If you have shelter to offer a displaced residence, please sign up to be vetted as a host on airbnb.com and you’ll be alerted through the Airbnb Open Homes Program if needed and we encourage household items to be donated to local thrift stores.

If you’d like to make a monetary donation instead, head to the BoulderOEM.com
