Giant Bicycles Leases 44,000 SF at 3825 Walnut in Boulder, Colorado for New U.S. Headquarters
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Boulder, CO — April 30, 2026 — A major new corporate relocation is set to further elevate Boulder’s standing as a global hub for cycling and outdoor innovation. Giant Bicycles, the world’s largest bicycle manufacturer, has signed a 44,000-square-foot lease at 3825 Walnut Street in Boulder, Colorado. Lease value was undisclosed.
This announcement follows Giant’s recent acquisition of Stages Cycling, a longtime Boulder-based company. Shortly after the acquisition, Giant confirmed plans to relocate its U.S. headquarters from California to Boulder, bringing approximately 125 jobs to the region. The new headquarters will house corporate leadership, product development, and brand teams—deepening the company’s integration into Boulder’s active, outdoor-focused community.
The Colorado Group represented both the landlord and tenant in the transaction. Liz Amaro and Scott Crabtree represented the landlord, Conscience Bay Company, while Layne McBride and Neil Littmann represented the tenant, Giant Bicycles.
“This deal represents a major win for Boulder,” said Liz Amaro. “Bringing Giant Bicycles into 3825 Walnut further solidifies the city’s reputation as a global epicenter for cycling and outdoor innovation. We’re incredibly proud to have helped facilitate a deal that aligns so well with Boulder’s identity and future growth.”
Scott Crabtree added, “This transaction highlights the continued demand for high-quality space in Boulder from innovative, globally recognized companies. Giant’s relocation from California not only brings new employment to the market but also preserves an existing workforce with Stages, creating a balanced and durable outcome for the community. We’re proud to have worked alongside Conscience Bay as a local landlord to align the right real estate solution with a company that fits so well within Boulder’s ecosystem.”
From the tenant’s perspective, Boulder’s unique culture played a central role in the decision.
“Boulder offers a unique combination of community, terrain, and industry partnership opportunities that align perfectly with Giant’s mission and business vision,” said Chris Lai, General Manager – Operations. “This relocation positions Giant to realign our business planning and energize our team, enabling us to better serve our retailers, athletes, and riders.”
“It also reinforces our commitment to delivering the next generation of product innovations and brand experiences,” added Angelo Mascelli, General Manager – Business.
